Pro Bono Program

Mr. Bruno is committed to Pro Bono service. He accepts cases pro bono (no attorney fees accepted) based on the following criteria:

  • The case must be a felony case.
  • The client must be in custody.
  • The case must be in Orange County.
  • The case must be a trial case. Mr. Bruno will not take the case on simply to attempt to get a better offer than the Public Defender.
  • The client must be willing to go to trial and to put into the case the effort, time, focus and attention that a trial demands.

If you or your loved one meets the above criteria, please call to schedule a free consultation. Please understand, the requirements set forth above are not flexible and each one must be met. If they are all met, Mr. Bruno will travel to jail and meet with the client. After the meeting a determination will be made as to whether Mr. Bruno will accept the case. From there, the case will proceed according to the appropriate procedural dictates.

Mr. Bruno is committed to trying 2 pro bono felony cases per year. If you have such a case, please do not hesitate to contact The Law Offices of Keith J. Bruno. The Newport Beach, Orange County, California, Law Office of Keith J. Bruno represents Californians who have been accused, charged, or arrested for criminal offenses in Orange County, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego.
